This 4-star resort on its own private island offers renovated traditional bungalows, each featuring a private balcony with hammock. Facilities include 6 different dinning outlets, a bar, a 3 tiered swimming pool and a day spa. Guests enjoy prepaid WiFi in the rooms.
Treasure Island Resort sits within the Mamanuca island group, west of Nadi. Guests can access the resort by direct meet and greet transfers, which can be arranged by the resort, boat from Denarau or Vuda Marina or by helicopter from Nadi International Airport. All bungalows are within 100 feet of the white sandy beach.
Each includes air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a small refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and a private bathroom with a hot-water shower. Treasure Island features 3 different room categories, each surrounded by lush tropical gardens and offering panoramic ocean views.
Guests have free access to snorkeling equipment, mini golf, games room and a tennis court. Senikai Spa offers a range of health, relaxation and beauty therapies, many using local Fijian ingredients. Elevuka Restaurant and Takia Bar feature a dance area where a live band plays every night.

What was the highlight of Nakelo Treasure Island Resort

Had a great stay and very friendly staff until it came time to leave.

We had a great 11 day stay until it came time to pay. Our bill had quite a few unreasonable additional charges that we had to dispute with the accounts lady. After an hour we settled our account in full minus some of these add-ons. Just before our boat left they said we owed them another nights Accomodation!??!! It was a blatant treasure island rort with no justification and we obviously refused to pay. The accounts lady just disappeared and never came back, no apology that they had made a mistake, which made us feel like we had been tried to be ripped off. They never offered us back our key deposit, we had to stand around and ask for it. We got on the boat with a very sour taste to find that the other family who were leaving at the same time had just been through the same experience.

Beautiful island. Clear blue water, nice beach. Friendly staff. Relaxed & casual feel. Good place to take kids.

Resort is quite run down and our room was a bit shabby (but clean). Some of the newer rooms looked better. Food was average and expensive.

Easy to get there, smooth transfers. Love the facilities, the bird life, iguanas, and the turtles. Most of all the wonderful staff! Very clean and well appointed. Gorgeous little island.

A bit on the expensive side but the logistics of running an island resort makes this understandable. We had an oceanfront room which is a premium, but honestly any room would do the trick as the all the rooms are only a few steps from the water.

Lots of seating, nice pool, quiet areas on the beach. Very nice staff

This property is in need of some serious upgrades and updates to it facilities before it even thinks of charging the room rate that they currently charge. If it was not in a convenient location for the ferry I would not have gone there if I knew the condition of the facility. The owners need to invest some money instead of profit taking.

We came to Treasure on honeymoon at the tail end of the peak summer season. We had incredible value, just the experience we looked for and wonderful service. The place has style and cultural colour, with endless options to have the full luxury experience through to relaxing by the pool, cocktail in hand. Will be returning.

What was the highlight of Nakelo Treasure Island Resort

The staff were amazing, so friendly, felt like family after 5 days there. The setting was magic, the nightly entertainment was fantastic, so much talent. The free extras such as snorkeling equipment, kayaks, mini putt, tennis court, volleyball, turtle feeding, just to name a few were great. The ocean was so warm and tropical fish close to shore.

The hot water in our shower was spasmodic, came and went. We were given incorrect quote for helicopter tour and were very disappointed the following day when we went to reception to confirm time. No one knew anything about the booking and we were then quoted $1300 extra and decided not to proceed. Staff need to be better trained in this area as it's an activity they offer and need to know prices and logisitics. Other than this we can't complain about anything. We would certainly return and recommend Treasure Island to friends and family.

What was the highlight of Nakelo Treasure Island Resort

The activities for the kids were excellent, keep them busy and allowing us to relax. The beaches were also great for young ones and our 3 year old become quite confident in the sea. The snorkeling was great especially when on the edge of the reef.

One day we had sea lice which was annoying but one out of five is not bad. Wifi is expensive but you’re on an island!

We like the free water sport gears we can use. The activities and entertainments e.g. fish feeding, turtle feeling, cocktail lessons, aqua aerobic, dancing in the evening. We got given a bottle of bubbles and fruit platters in our room as a surprise. We think that must be for our honeymoon celebration. The Grill bar has great wraps and burgers. Very friendly staff. Get Jetski safari programme!! Each unit has a private hammock or even two. The units are very spacious..

Waiting 1-2 hrs for a meal, waiting like that for lunch and dinner every day. Adult meals not available until 7pm when our kids where in bed so we had to tag team dinner eating separately, until we decided to get take away and my husband walk it back to the room. Staff morale- one or two were nice but the rest seemed pretty miserable and not happy employees like in other places I’ve been in Fiji. Sad.
